Shamanic Healing & Empowerment

October 25-27, 2024

Prepare for a weekend that promises a transformative, experiential immersion into the fundamentals of core shamanism and shamanic practices for self-healing and empowerment. It’s not just a retreat but a journey that could potentially transform your life as you gain the foundational knowledge and experience needed to integrate shamanic pathways of healing, transformation, and empowerment into your growth journey.

At the retreat, you will learn and practice techniques for shaman journeying, connecting with spirit guides, and understanding the shamanic worldview. You will also practice shamanic healing and power retrieval methods through various Shamanic journeys and ceremonies, including the Shamanic Journey, a Medicine Wheel experience, and a Sweat Lodge ceremony.

These shamanic approaches to transformation and spiritual connection, combined with the sacred energy and beauty of Sedona, one of the world’s most sacred places of spiritual power, will ignite renewed inspiration, motivation, and purpose within you.

Shamanic energy healing modalities are rooted in the principle of holism, with the idea that un-wellness and illness are the result of internal imbalances within the mind, body, heart, and soul. In contrast, wholeness, healing, and wellness are connected to our inner states of integrated harmony with self and life.

Shamanic healing and empowerment practices involve accessing and working with the energies of the spirit world and nature to restore mind, body, spirit integration, harmony, and wholeness. This retreat guides you through an empowering and transformative journey in reconnecting with your deep, healed, authentic self, the realm of spirit, the magic of nature, and your inner shaman. – Carrie Konyha

Carrie’s first exposure to shamanic ways of living began as a child with the inspiration of her mother, who practiced astrology and shamanic ways of living in alignment with the various cycles and seasons of nature. Carrie’s spiritual journey and curiosity in energy healing led her to a deeper initiation into Shamanism in 1999 with her first shamanic journey to connect with her power animal, guided by her shamanic mentor at the time, Stephen Neil Szpatura.

Naturally resonating deeply with the principles and practices of shamanism, Carrie immersed herself in exploring shamanic energy healing modalities to heal her own core wounds, ultimately experiencing deep and lasting results that fueled her passion for learning more. She went on to study extensively for 15 years with Ted Andrews – a well-known author of metaphysical and shamanic wisdom teachings, before he passed away in 2009. Since then, she has continued to study and practice shamanism as an integral part of her life. Living in Sedona over the past 20 years has allowed Carrie many opportunities to learn from many of the world’s most influential pioneers in consciousness evolution which ultimately led her to learn directly with don Miguel Ruiz and his family (The author of ‘The Four Agreements’ and many other books) by attending his programs, retreats and immersive apprenticeship programs.

Carrie is passionate about sharing the gifts of healing, empowerment, self-love, and spiritual autonomy that shamanism offers. She mindfully designs her retreats to guide participants through a transformative experience, sharing wisdom teachings in inclusive and accessible ways in a safe, supportive environment.
